Lead BIOS Test Engineer High Performance Workstations

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to ensure the quality and stability of HP BIOS on HP workstation platforms
• Debug and troubleshoot high-end workstations at the firmware level
• Provide innovative firmware solutions to customers
• Perform system-level testing across firmware, drivers, hardware, and software
• Write lightweight scripts and automation for validation and test tasks
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field
• 3+ years of professional experience in testing
• Experience with system-level testing (firmware, driver, hardware, or software)
• Proficiency in scripting with EFI Shell, PowerShell, or Python
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, driver, firmware, and software architecture
• Knowledge of PC industry standards including UEFI, PCIe, USB, and SMBIOS

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field
