Lead BI Engineer - PowerBI

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end BI projects from requirement gathering to dashboard delivery, including data modelling and user training
• Build dynamic, high-performance Power BI dashboards using advanced DAX, Power Query (M), RLS, and custom visuals
• Write efficient SQL for data extraction and transformation across platforms like Azure SQL, Snowflake, or Databricks
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and translate business needs into actionable insights
• Integrate Power BI with tools like Excel, Power Automate, and SharePoint
• Partner with Data Engineers to align with data pipelines and ensure data accuracy

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of hands-on BI experience with a focus on Power BI, SQL, and DAX
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and BI architecture
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
• Experience with Python for Gen AI innovations or automation is a plus
• Knowledge of Tableau or Qlik Sense is an advantage
