Lead Backend Developer Java

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with quality goals, architecture, and IT security
• Maintain high code quality and uniform code structure
• Perform technical quality assurance for implemented stories and specify technical interfaces
• Manage versioning, configuration, and release management
• Maintain technical documentation and prepare architecture, design, and tool decisions

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or comparable IT qualification
• Proficiency in Java, Quarkus, and Domain-Driven Design
• Experience with container and cloud technologies
• Ability to manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines
• At least 5 years of experience in event-driven architectures and modern DevOps methods
• Very good German and English skills (German is mandatory)
• Willingness to work within Austria
