Lead AVL Technician

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of installation technicians at project sites following industry standards and project plans
• Assist the Foreman in preparing the crew, reviewing pack sheets, and managing on-site inventory
• Execute installation plans and oversee site operations independently for up to a week
• Perform QC inspections to ensure work meets company standards
• Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and coach team members on technical skill mastery
• Lead the installation of audio, video, and lighting equipment, including rigging, rack building, and system testing
• Participate in project preparation and company meetings

Requirements

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in AVL system installation or a similar technical field
• Proven experience leading and organizing crews
• High School Diploma or GED
• OSHA-30 Certification
• Aerial Scissor, Boom, and Forklift Certifications
• Current DOT physical and Safety Certifications
• Ability to work variable hours, including overtime and seven days per week when required
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights of 6+ feet

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in wire pull, terminations, rigging, and field installation
• Familiarity with industry safety protocols and regulations relevant to AVL systems
