Lead AV Studio Specialist

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical operator for all live and pre-recorded studio productions, including broadcasts, webinars, and internal video shoots.
• Manage video switching and routing using Ross Carbonite Ultra and Ultrix platforms.
• Operate Panasonic 4K PTZ camera systems via RP150 touchscreen controllers.
• Execute audio engineering and mixing within a Dante-networked environment using Soundcraft consoles.
• Manage live streaming and recording workflows using AJA Ki Pro Ultra and Epiphan/AJA streaming appliances.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance, firmware updates, and technical readiness audits for the studio ecosystem.
• Diagnose and resolve technical failures across the studio stack, including Ross OpenGear, Shure wireless, and Raritan KVM systems.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, including wiring schematics and equipment logs.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience in a broadcast, corporate studio, or live production environment.
• Proficiency with the Ross Video ecosystem, specifically Carbonite switchers and Ultrix routers.
• Proven experience operating Panasonic PTZ camera systems in a live setting.
• Strong expertise in Dante audio networking and wireless frequency coordination (Shure ULXD).
• Deep understanding of 12G-SDI, NDI, and HDMI signal flow, including conversion and scaling.
• Experience with high-fidelity recording formats (ProRes/DNxHR) and hardware encoders.
• Ability to work independently as the sole on-site technical authority in a high-pressure environment.
