About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end installation, commissioning, and quality assurance of integrated audiovisual and video conferencing systems.
  • Manage an onsite team of AV engineers, assigning daily tasks and reporting project progress to the project manager.
  • Perform fault finding and technical resolution during the commissioning phase, escalating to third parties when necessary.
  • Produce system configuration documentation, including O&M documentation and "as-built" technical versions.
  • Conduct off-site testing, configuration, and software control system troubleshooting to identify programming snags.
  • Deliver system training to end users and provide ongoing technical support and maintenance.
  • Mentor and develop junior audiovisual and trainee commissioning engineers.
  • Perform regular preventative room checks and provide first-line support for multimedia/presentation rooms.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a senior AV/VC engineering or commissioning role.
  • Proven track record in leading teams to deliver VC or AV solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of AV/VC systems in corporate environments (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Cisco).
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding AV schematics and technical diagrams.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and various audio/video protocols and codecs.
  • Ability to draft and present professional technical reports in English.
  • Experience with installation, commissioning, and maintenance of modern audiovisual systems.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including early/late hours or weekends as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry or manufacturer-specific certifications.
  • Experience with large-scale integrated audiovisual projects in the corporate or public sectors.
