Lead Automation Tester

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to analyze requirements and develop automation strategies
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement
• Provide technical guidance and support to QA engineers on automation best practices
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and code reviews
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and methodologies to enhance testing capabilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 6 to 9 years of relevant experience in software automation testing
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
• Extensive experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or Test Complete
• Excellent SQL skills with knowledge of databases such as Snowflake, Redshift, Oracle, or Netezza
• Deep understanding of software testing methodologies and principles
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in software testing or test automation (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA)
