Lead Auditor

Responsibilities

• Drive the commercial launch and growth of QuantiLAB’s certification activity across Southern and Eastern Africa
• Identify target markets and build a client pipeline to convert prospects into long-term partners
• Conduct food safety and quality certification audits including HACCP, BRCGS, and Global GAP
• Leverage industry relationships with food producers, growers, and retailers to position QuantiLAB as a preferred certification body
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to refine regional business strategy

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Microbiology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in food safety auditing and certification
• Proven track record of conducting third-party audits under standards such as HACCP, BRCGS, Global GAP, or ISO 22000
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and certification processes
• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and develop business opportunities
• Strong leadership, management, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in English
• Previous exposure to or acquaintance with AI products

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree or additional certification in food safety management
• Fluency in a second language
