Lead - Audio & Resort AV

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance, setup, and fine-tuning of all audiovisual equipment, hardware, and communication networks
• Manage a preventative maintenance program for all audiovisual base build and mobile plant equipment
• Plan operation and maintenance requirements for AV activities based on departmental requests
• Establish metrics and procedures for background music (BGM) and audio system quality benchmarks
• Manage guestroom and villa AV/GRMS performance and control system integration
• Develop, lead, and mentor a team of AV technicians
• Oversee outsourced event organizers and third-party vendors
• Manage inventory of operating supplies, spare parts, and equipment needs
• Continually seek ways to improve health and safety standards within the department

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in AV technical services
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role
• Expert knowledge of AV networking and control systems, including QLab, Crestron, Dante, and GRMS
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and coordination abilities in multicultural environments
• Professional demeanor with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Audio Engineering, Technical Theatre, Production Design, or a related field
• Experience working in luxury resorts or five-star entertainment venues
• Industry certifications in advanced audio systems and technologies
• Proficiency in lighting, laser, holography, animation, and control programming tools (ETC, C++, PLC)
