Lead Associate Account Director

Responsibilities

• Serve as the strategic lead for a portfolio of agency clients, building executive relationships and delivering exceptional outcomes.
• Partner with Business Development and Trading teams to drive client retention, growth, and adoption of platform solutions.
• Lead strategic client engagements through data-driven recommendations and long-term account planning.
• Act as a trusted advisor to identify client challenges and influence strategy to align with business goals.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers by providing regular feedback and supporting career development.
• Advocate for client needs internally by partnering with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
• Define portfolio priorities and success metrics to ensure operational excellence and high-quality service.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in digital advertising, media, adtech, or related client-facing roles.
• 2+ years of experience in people management.
• Proficiency in both Japanese and English (written and verbal).
• Strong understanding of programmatic advertising, data-driven marketing, and measurement solutions.
• Proven track record of managing and growing complex agency or advertiser relationships.
• Ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders.
• Excellent prioritization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
