Lead Artist

Responsibilities

• Conceive, create, and lead the team in producing innovative artistic visuals for AAA titles
• Manage art teams effectively, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output
• Implement and manage solid art production pathways
• Oversee resource management by assigning artists of varying skill sets to numerous projects
• Liaise with and present to clients in an authoritative and professional manner
• Troubleshoot creative challenges and assess potential risks to project timelines and budgets
• Implement cutting-edge artistic techniques and tools into practical studio workflows

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in console development
• At least 2 shipped titles, with at least 1 role held as a Lead Artist
• 2-3 years of experience developing and implementing art production pathways
• Proven ability to manage deadlines, budgets, and art teams effectively
• Strong visual and verbal communication skills for directing internal and external teams
• Excellent resource management and judgment skills
• A portfolio or website link demonstrating your artistic abilities is mandatory

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience in generating a diverse range of artistic styles
• Technical expertise with current-generation technology
• Strong illustration skills
