Lead Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the architectural design process from concept development through detailed design and construction documentation
• Prepare and review design briefs, conceptual designs, design development outputs, and working drawings
• Ensure architectural designs comply with local regulations, codes, and statutory requirements
• Coordinate architectural inputs with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Review designs to ensure alignment with project objectives, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements
• Support the implementation of works under complex quality and safety management plans
• Provide technical leadership and oversight throughout the entire project lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with 10+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in architectural design development for infrastructure projects (Housing, Healthcare, Institutional, or Critical Infrastructure)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience serving in a Lead Architect role
• Valid Professional Certification authorizing architectural practice for CC2 or CC3 category buildings/structures
• Extensive experience supporting or overseeing implementation of works under complex quality and safety plans
• Strong architectural design leadership and coordination skills
• Excellent understanding of building regulations and compliance requirements
