Lead Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade application architectures and platforms using cloud-native principles.
• Deploy applications on hyperscaler platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using containers, serverless functions, and managed databases.
• Manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors to identify and implement creative business solutions.
• Oversee the full development lifecycle, including requirement identification, functional design, prototyping, testing, and training.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing application architectures to ensure scalability, robustness, and security.
• Lead large on-shore and off-shore teams through complex client engagements and proposal development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience as an Application Architect with a focus on scaling production environments.
• 6+ years of experience working on large-scale engagements in industry or consulting.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Python, or .NET.
• Hyperscaler Architect certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
• 3+ years of experience implementing CI/CD and DevSecOps using tools like Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts, including LLMs and their enterprise applications.
• Ability to travel up to 50% based on client needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Experience with architecture design patterns such as MVP, MVC, or Gang of Four.
• Experience with JQuery, JavaScript, and common JavaScript patterns.
• Proven experience leading testing efforts, including System, Integration, and Performance Testing.
