Lead Architect-Azure

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Azure-based solutions for complex enterprise applications.
• Define cloud architecture and roadmaps in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.
• Assess client environments and provide recommendations for cloud adoption, migration, and optimization.
• Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership, owning end-to-end solution architecture.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Data, and Application teams to align solutions with enterprise strategy.
• Mentor development teams on cloud architecture best practices.
• Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses.
• Support pre-sales activities, including effort estimation and technical presentations.

Requirements

• 12+ years of IT experience, with at least 6+ years focused on Azure architecture and implementation.
• Deep expertise in Azure services including App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, or Terraform).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity, governance, and security principles.
• Extensive background in microservices architecture and enterprise application design.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a client-facing consulting role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Knowledge of other cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
