About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide application support for front and back office systems, troubleshooting issues across end-users, vendors, and technology teams
- Own the operation, monitoring, and integrity of the technology platform, including application reliability and complex nightly data processes
- Drive the incident and problem management lifecycle, including root cause analysis and technical reporting
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting for on-prem and Cloud applications using tools like Dynatrace, Grafana, or CloudWatch
- Oversee production environment stability within the change management process
- Proactively identify and implement operational improvements through automation and scripting
- Partner with development and release control teams to move tested code into production
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in financial services technology, ideally within investment management
- Strong understanding of the SDLC, application support, and release management
- Experience troubleshooting applications on both Linux and Windows platforms
- Proficiency with MS SQL Server, including database querying and troubleshooting
- Experience with Enterprise Scheduling/workflow software (Autosys preferred)
- Experience supporting applications hosted in Cloud environments (AWS or Azure preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Python for automating manual processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the trading lifecycle, portfolio management, and fixed income markets
- Experience with the Atlassian product suite (JIRA and Confluence)
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI
- Understanding of how to leverage AI in day-to-day technical workflows
