Lead Apartment Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Manage work orders, preventative maintenance, and daily workload for the onsite team
• Accurately assess root causes of work orders and resolve resident issues
• Conduct daily property walks to maintain grounds and buildings
• Manage vacant apartment inventory and assist with the turn-around process
• Inspect vacant units before move-in to ensure quality standards
• Respond to assigned work orders in a timely manner
• Participate in the weekly on-call emergency rotation
• Collaborate with the Regional Maintenance Supervisor on special projects

Requirements

• HVAC Type I and Type II/EPA Universal Certification
• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in a garden-style apartment community
• Proficiency in troubleshooting major appliances, water heaters, boilers, and AC units
• Knowledge of plumbing, drywall repair, painting, carpentry, and minor electrical repair
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications

• CPO certification
