Lead A&P Technician

Responsibilities

• Supervise production personnel and ensure safe work practices are followed
• Plan, direct, and coordinate area activities to minimize delays and increase efficiency
• Provide training and assistance to subordinates regarding procedures and methods
• Maintain equipment, tools, and technical data including overhaul manuals and airworthiness directives
• Perform routine inspections and special maintenance on aircraft mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Determine repair or replacement needs for components and secure necessary parts
• Complete work package documentation and sign off on completed operations
• Submit completed work to Quality Assurance for final inspection

Requirements

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificates required
• HS Diploma or GED required
• At least 8 years of experience in aircraft maintenance activities
• 5-7 years of supervisory or management experience in heavy maintenance or MRO
• Recent depot-level aircraft maintenance and repair experience
• Proficiency in interpreting OEM technical data and work package instructions
• Ability to wear a respirator per OSHA regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• FCC General Operator's License
• Prior experience in an executive jet repair facility
• Experience with Embraer 145 or Legacy aircraft
