Lead A&P Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Supervise A&P Mechanics and perform performance evaluations
• Conduct daily/turnaround inspections and corrosion inspections
• Perform turbine engine, propeller, airframe, and flight control maintenance
• Update maintenance tracking software and submit required reports
• Maintain FAA required records, manuals, and inspection forms
• Act as the Point of Contact for site aircraft and GSE maintenance activities
• Troubleshoot systems and perform structural repairs

Requirements

• Current FAA A&P certificate
• 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
• 3+ years of lead aircraft mechanic experience on King Air series aircraft
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a DOD SECRET security clearance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance database software
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week, and travel as required
• Ability to read and interpret technical publications, schematics, and drawings

Preferred Qualifications

• Inspection Authorization (IA)
• Experience with Rockwell/Collins Proline 21
• Experience with Garmin G1000
• Recent Beechcraft King Air experience on civilian or military platforms
• Pratt & Whitney PT6 turboprop experience
