Lead Android Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the Android product, from technical architecture to product quality and roadmap execution
• Lead and grow a team of engineers and contractors
• Set the technical direction and make architectural decisions for the Android platform
• Translate business goals into technical strategy and prioritization
• Partner with product, design, backend, and leadership teams to align on priorities
• Establish engineering and product standards, including code review and release processes

Requirements

• Significant experience leading Android development at a product-driven company
• Experience managing engineers and contractors
• Deep Android platform expertise and knowledge of Android-specific design patterns
• Strong business and product judgment
• Ability to operate in a small, early-stage team environment
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, crypto, trading, or data-rich consumer applications
• Familiarity with blockchain or Web3 products
