Lead Analyst

Responsibilities

• Design and implement API proxies, shared flows, and policies using Google Apigee
• Define and maintain API architecture, contracts, and standards using OpenAPI/Swagger
• Build and integrate APIs with backend systems including REST, SOAP, microservices, and legacy platforms
• Implement API security protocols including OAuth2, JWT, SAML, and mTLS
• Enable CI/CD automation for API deployments and releases using tools like Git, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance and traffic using Apigee analytics
• Collaborate with architects and product owners to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to API governance and best practices

Requirements

• 15+ years of IT experience
• 10+ years of experience in Apigee API Management
• Strong expertise in Apigee Edge, API Gateway concepts, and policy development
• Deep knowledge of API security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, SAML, mTLS, access control)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps)
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, Java, or Python
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
