Lead Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate program technical and programmatic baselines
• Create innovative cost estimating techniques for development, production, and operating and support (O&S) cost elements
• Develop independent life cycle cost estimates including risk, uncertainty, and sensitivity analysis
• Perform economic analyses such as business case analyses, cost/benefit analyses, and analysis-of-alternatives
• Assess the credibility of government and industry cost estimates, economic analyses, and cost savings initiatives
• Evaluate industry contract cost and schedule performance and conduct variance root cause analysis
• Document and present analytical results to senior managers and stakeholders
• Mentor and train entry-level cost analysts within high-performing project teams
• Manage competing priorities and multiple tasks in a collaborative work environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., economics, engineering, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or business)
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in defense, intelligence, and/or civil agency program cost and economic analysis
• Active Secret Clearance
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Understanding of weapons or automated information systems (design, production, operations, and support processes)
• Understanding of government cost, technical, and programmatic data sources and industry accounting systems

Preferred Qualifications

• ICEAA Certification
• Defense Acquisition Workforce Initiative Act (DAWIA) certification
