Lead Analyst - FP&A Investment Planning

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the portfolio of capital projects for Avangrid Networks, including forecasting, trend assessment, and regulatory tracking
• Manage structured data within Project Portfolio Management systems to track actuals, approvals, and budgets
• Develop, maintain, and automate recurring reporting tasks using VBA and Microsoft Office applications
• Create detailed spreadsheets and interactive dashboards to analyze trends and highlight variances
• Recommend innovative process improvements and best practices to increase operational efficiency and accuracy
• Communicate findings and strategic insights to business leaders, executives, and project teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, Data Science, or a related field
• 7 years of experience in finance, project management, engineering, or a related field
• Proven expertise in data analysis, reporting, and process improvement
• Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in writing and debugging VBA code
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Query, and SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Administrative experience with Clarity PPM or similar project management software
• Thorough knowledge of CapEx and Plant Addition forecasting, budgeting, and analysis
