Lead Analyst - Business Analysis & Planning

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated annual budgets and quarterly forecasts with corresponding analysis to support management decision-making
• Provide monthly analysis comparing actuals to budget, forecast, and prior year, including qualitative explanations for income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow variances
• Manage budgeting and planning for the Corporate business segment, including finance income/cost, depreciation, income tax, and personnel costs
• Own the data integrity and loading processes for financial reporting tools (BPC), ensuring reconciliation with the primary ledger (SAP)
• Optimize and automate internal reporting processes and team workflows
• Support management with ad-hoc information requests and financial analysis

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a finance or accounting capacity
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analytics tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or Microstrategy
• 3 to 5 years of experience with SAP or BPC
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting
• Proven knowledge of technical accounting and financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with management oversight

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, CPA, or CMA certification
• Experience in the energy sector
