Lead Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of analog/mixed signal silicon designers, including schedule planning, task assignment, and progress tracking.
• Contribute to the definition of analog circuit architecture for various AMS blocks.
• Collaborate with project directors, system architects, SOC designers, and physical designers to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Manage bottom-up schedule planning and verification activities to ensure IP meets performance, power, reliability, and timing requirements.
• Work closely with layout design teams to deliver DRC-compliant physical design GDSII.
• Deliver AMS block production and bench-level test plans for post-silicon characterization and validation.
• Influence the development of AMS design workflows and methodologies to improve team productivity and execution quality.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry with a focus on analog/mixed signal silicon IP design.
• Proven experience in high-speed serial and/or parallel (memory, SerDes, die-to-die interfaces) PHY/IO designs.
• Hands-on design experience in FinFET nodes (ranging from 16nm down to 3nm).
• Strong knowledge of mixed-signal circuit architecture, including IO receiver/transmitter AFE and PLL/DLL/clocking.
• Proficiency with AMS EDA industry-standard tools, including Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and HSPICE.
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (PhD preferred).
• Excellent technical and management communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-speed custom digital and low-power design techniques.
• A track record of successfully taking complex analog/mixed-signal designs to full production.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary, cross-geographical team environment.
