Odys builds safe, sustainable aircraft to cut travel time in half on the world's busiest corridors. Our flagship aircraft, Alta, and our UAV, Laila, are designed for commercial logistics, medical transport, and defense missions.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, route, and terminate complex aircraft wiring harnesses using crimping, soldering, and shielding.
  • Lead mechanical and electrical integration of payloads including EO/IR cameras, LiDAR, and Radar.
  • Install and maintain High Voltage (HV) distribution systems and Battery Management Systems (BMS).
  • Inspect and repair eVTOL airframe structures, composite panels, and motor mounts.
  • Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks on avionics and electric propulsion systems.
  • Manage aircraft configuration, documentation, and Mega-Watt Charging Stations.
  • Optimize quick-turn operations for rapid aircraft turnaround.

Requirements

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
  • 3+ years of experience in avionics, aerospace electrical systems, or complex unmanned systems
  • Proficiency in Mil-Spec soldering, crimping, and harness building
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Familiarity with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and milliohm meters
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight airframe spaces
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% to flight test ranges

Preferred Qualifications

  • Inspection Authorization (IA)
  • Experience in Part 135 or Part 145 regulated environments
  • Knowledge of eVTOL/UAV electric propulsion and lithium-ion battery integration
  • Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards
  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, ARINC 429, Ethernet, or Serial
  • Experience integrating C2 datalinks and mesh radios
