Lead AI/ML Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of AI/ML use cases from problem framing and data pipelines to deployment and monitoring
• Act as a technical co-owner of the AI/ML use-case portfolio, providing feasibility, effort, and technical risk assessments
• Partner with subsurface, production, and operations teams to translate business problems into technical specifications
• Deliver production-grade solutions in areas such as predictive maintenance, well-control optimization, and production-system surveillance
• Manage the technical roadmap and defend the scope of work in collaboration with business leadership

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building and shipping production ML and AI systems in industrial, energy, or manufacturing domains
• Proven experience solving Optimization and Operation Research problems
• Proficiency in Python and data engineering with Spark or Databricks
• Strong understanding of MLOps fundamentals, including CI/CD for models, monitoring, and retraining
• Fluency with Microsoft Azure or other major cloud platforms
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical results to non-technical stakeholders and operations leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep working knowledge of upstream oil and gas, including production engineering and artificial lift
• Familiarity with industrial sensor data and predictive maintenance patterns
• Experience operating within large-enterprise digital governance and security frameworks
• Prior exposure to GCC NOC/IOC operating environments
