Lead AI Architect

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end AI architecture for invoice-to-cash workflows, including remittance data extraction and payment-to-invoice matching.
• Design modular AI agents for deduction classification and invoice reference identification.
• Lead intelligent document processing solutions to parse email attachments, EDI/XML files, and customer portal uploads.
• Build and optimize AI-driven matching algorithms to improve auto-match rates and reduce manual exceptions.
• Design explainable AI systems to detect mismatches and suggest corrective actions suitable for financial audits.
• Lead a team of AI/ML engineers and data scientists while partnering with Product and ERP teams to drive the AI roadmap.

Requirements

• 8–14+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering.
• Deep expertise in NLP, LLM-based systems, and entity extraction/classification.
• Proven experience with matching and reconciliation algorithms.
• Strong track record of production AI deployment in scalable SaaS or enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Receivable or financial systems automation.
• Background in cash application or remittance processing.
• Experience building ERP-integrated AI systems.
• Knowledge of agent-based AI architectures and explainable AI in regulated domains.
