Lead AI and Data Solutions Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of data and AI solutions that align technology outcomes to business requirements
• Define architecture patterns, engineering standards, and delivery approaches for data platforms and machine learning solutions
• Oversee the build of data pipelines, APIs, cloud-based services, and AI-enabled products across the solution lifecycle
• Collaborate with business, product, and engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into implementation plans
• Lead project teams, review technical deliverables, and manage execution across timelines, dependencies, and risks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience designing and delivering data platforms, analytics, or AI solutions
• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams or technical workstreams
• 4+ years of experience with Python, SQL, and at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• 4+ years of experience building data pipelines, APIs, and ML/GenAI solutions in production environments
• Ability to travel 10-25% on average

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative or technical field
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Apache Spark, or Kubernetes
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG, vector databases, or MLOps tooling
• Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and containerized deployments
• Industry certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, or Snowflake
