Lead Accountant, Corporate Accounting

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and account analysis for US general ledger accounts including joint ventures and cloud computing arrangements
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and ensure timely clearance of outstanding items
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting schedules with management commentary
• Oversee global account reconciliation processes and conduct quality reviews
• Design, implement, and maintain effective accounting processes, policies, and internal controls
• Identify automation opportunities and collaborate with the accounting transformation team
• Assist in audit activities with internal and external auditors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience in roles of increasing responsibility
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC Regulations, and SOX 404(b) compliance
• Experience with global financial systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Demonstrated experience with process and system automation
• Ability to execute multiple tasks with high attention to detail under strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Active CPA license
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
