Lead 3D Animator

Responsibilities

• Create and oversee high-quality character and vehicle animations, including rigging, movement cycles, and combat interactions
• Lead and mentor a small team of animators, ensuring artistic consistency and timely delivery of milestones
• Utilize Unreal Engine’s animation systems such as Sequencer, Control Rig, and Anim Blueprints
• Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and artists to maintain animation fidelity and game performance
• Contribute to the animation pipeline from concept and storyboarding to final polish
• Implement advanced techniques including keyframe, motion capture, and procedural animations
• Provide creative direction and feedback to internal and external animation contributors

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Animation, Fine Arts, Computer Graphics, or a related field
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in 3D animation for games, focusing on character and vehicle animations
• Proven experience leading or mentoring animation teams on game development projects
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools including Unreal 5.4, Maya, Blender, or 3DS Max
• Experience with motion capture data cleanup and facial rigging
• Mandatory familiarity with Unreal Blueprint scripting
• Strong portfolio showcasing action and combat animation sequences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on multiplayer or high-performance gaming projects
