LCA Engineer Intern

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews and benchmarks regarding packaging modeling in LCA (perimeters, recycled content, reuse, end-of-life scenarios, etc.)
• Analyze recommendations from major LCA and environmental reporting frameworks relevant to industrial contexts
• Model various packaging families in SimaPro, including production and end-of-life stages, to propose reusable models
• Evaluate the environmental contribution of packaging across representative Syensqo case studies to identify improvement levers
• Collaborate closely with LCA/TEA engineers to present results and strategic recommendations

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree (Bac+5) in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Materials, Environment, or LCA
• Proficiency in SimaPro software
• Strong analytical skills, methodological rigor, and ability to synthesize complex information
• Ability to conduct structured literature reviews and derive operational recommendations
• Fluency in both French and English (written and oral)
• High level of autonomy, organization, and curiosity
