Layout Designer

Responsibilities

• Implement high-quality layouts for analog blocks while managing complex design constraints
• Create layouts for various blocks including Temperature sensors, PLL, ADC, DAC, LDO, Bandgap, and more
• Perform floor planning and manual routing to optimize circuit performance
• Execute secondary layout tasks including ECO, LCO, and DFM
• Debug and resolve LVS, DRC, and general layout issues
• Collaborate effectively within cross-functional, multi-site team environments

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in layout design
• Proficiency with Cadence VXL
• Strong understanding of analog layout fundamentals such as Matching, Electro-migration, Latch-up, and crosstalk
• Experience with LVS and DRC debugging
• Knowledge of layout effects on circuit parameters like Speed, Capacitance, Power, and Area
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
