Lawyer for Legal Clinics

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide law students through the teaching-learning process within the Legal Clinics.
• Develop legal strategies for judicial and extrajudicial conflict resolution.
• Provide legal representation and act as a representative lawyer in specific cases as required by the institution.
• Offer legal orientation and analysis for community members.
• Coordinate student teams, including those performing social service, on-campus and during community brigades.
• Conduct weekly or bi-weekly workshops and training sessions for law students.
• Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling user appointments, drafting legal documents (demands, responses, etc.), and reporting clinic functions.
• Organize community assistance brigades and visits to judicial offices and other external legal spaces.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law (Licenciatura en Derecho) is indispensable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation lawyer.
• Proven experience in teaching or academic instruction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong commitment to a gender perspective approach in legal practice.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Law.
• Advanced information analysis or statistical skills.
• Intermediate English proficiency (B2 level).
• Strong user orientation and commitment to social justice.
