About the role
Responsibilities
- Observe and assist with witness interviews, hearings, and trials
- Review police reports, transcribe 911 calls, and support plea negotiations
- Participate in arraignments, calendar calls, hearings, and trials where eligible
- Complete substantive writing assignments and training practicums
- Engage with Assistant District Attorneys and criminal justice leaders for mentorship and networking
Requirements
- Current law student
- First-semester law school transcript required before offer
- Full-time, in-person availability from June 1, 2026 to July 31, 2026
- Interest in criminal justice and prosecution work
