About the role
Responsibilities
- Create intelligence reports based on extrapolated data, research, and analysis.
- Analyze tactical surveillance video and imagery in conjunction with sensor alerts to detect and identify threats or incursions.
- Communicate via radio with field agents to relay real-time information developed through database research.
- Provide agents with rapid access to historical activity data, such as apprehensions and seizures, using Enterprise Geospatial Information Services (eGIS).
- Interpret and implement immigration law through database analysis and video surveillance.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years.
- For GS-05: 3 years of general experience or a four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- For GS-07: 1 year of specialized experience in law enforcement research, data analysis, or designing/organizing data from multiple information systems, or one year of graduate education.
- Ability to pass a thorough background investigation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with Enterprise Geospatial Information Services (eGIS).
- Experience in law enforcement intelligence activities.
- Experience analyzing surveillance video and imagery.
