About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on energy law and energy policy topics under the supervision of the Director or designated faculty
  • Prepare publishable-quality white papers or articles based on research findings
  • Assist in organizing Energy Law Center activities, including symposia, guest speaker events, and student field trips
  • Attend energy law conferences to represent the Center or further specific research projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned to advance the goals of the Laborde Energy Law Center

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • One year of related professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school or international equivalent
