Laundry Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage daily laundry operations including washing, drying, ironing, and distribution
• Supervise, train, and motivate laundry staff to maintain quality standards
• Develop and implement efficient workflows for timely processing
• Oversee inventory management of supplies, detergents, and chemicals
• Coordinate regular maintenance of laundry equipment
• Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards
• Prepare and manage the laundry department budget and operational costs
• Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to resolve issues
• Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance logs, and schedules
• Conduct regular quality checks and participate in audits
• Implement innovative solutions to improve processes and reduce environmental impact

Requirements

• Proven experience in laundry management within a 5-star hotel setting
• In-depth knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and textile care
• Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Proficiency in computer applications and inventory management systems
• Ability to work under pressure with high attention to detail
• Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations
• Strong cost management and budgeting skills
