Laundry Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laundry department operations and linen processing
• Supervise, train, and manage laundry staff
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality for all linens and garments
• Implement quality control procedures and manage inventory levels
• Coordinate with housekeeping for timely delivery and collection
• Monitor and maintain laundry equipment and arrange repairs
• Manage departmental budgets and control costs
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Create work schedules and conduct staff performance reviews
• Prepare departmental performance and productivity reports
• Implement sustainable and eco-friendly laundry practices
• Resolve guest complaints regarding laundry services

Requirements

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in laundry management
• Proven track record in hotel or large-scale institutional settings
• Strong knowledge of laundry equipment operation and maintenance
• Experience in staff supervision and performance management
• Proficiency in inventory management and cost control
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in laundry management software and basic computer applications
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
• Hospitality management qualification or relevant certification
