Laundry Attendant

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled linens and guest garments according to fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements
• Operate washers, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently
• Fold, hang, or package clean items according to standard procedures
• Inspect items for damage or stains and report issues to the Supervisor
• Ensure proper use of cleaning agents and chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
• Assist in the delivery and collection of laundry items to guest rooms and other departments
• Handle guest laundry requests with high attention to detail
• Follow all hygiene, safety, and infection control protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping operations, ideally in a hotel or resort setting
• Basic knowledge of textile care, stain removal, and garment handling
• Ability to operate laundry equipment and follow safety procedures
• Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work effectively in a team within a fast-paced environment
