Laundry Attendant

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain laundry equipment including washing machines, dryers, and pressing machines
• Ensure all hotel linens, uniforms, and guest laundry are cleaned, pressed, and presented to luxury standards
• Handle guest laundry requests efficiently with high attention to detail and timely delivery
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry items following proper fabric care procedures
• Inspect items for damage or stains and report issues to supervisors promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and storage rooms
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies, chemicals, and linens
• Adhere to all hygiene, sanitation, and health & safety standards

Requirements

• Previous experience in Laundry Operations, Housekeeping, or a similar luxury hotel role preferred
• Knowledge of laundry procedures, fabric care, and stain removal techniques
• Strong attention to detail regarding cleanliness and garment presentation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Physically fit and able to perform tasks involving lifting, standing, and repetitive motions
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
