Laundry Attendant

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, bedding, and uniforms
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, ironers, and folding equipment
• Inspect linens for stains or damage and apply appropriate stain treatments
• Maintain inventory levels and communicate shortages to management
• Deliver clean linens to designated storage areas and housekeeping closets
• Maintain clean and organized laundry areas following safety guidelines
• Monitor and report equipment malfunctions and supply needs
• Follow proper chemical handling and OSHA regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hotel experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop throughout the shift
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
