Laundry Attendant

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver in-house guest laundry and outside dry cleaning
• Collect laundry bags from guest rooms and verify items against laundry sheets
• Check all items for damage or stains and take appropriate rectification action
• Process guest clothing using correct equipment, chemicals, and temperatures
• Fold or hang clothing neatly as requested by guests
• Operate and maintain washers, dryers, dry cleaning machines, and folding equipment
• Sort clean towels, rugs, and robes using manual or machine folding
• Maintain a clean and safe work area free of debris or standing water
• Follow all hotel safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel or similar capacity preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to use commercial cleaning chemicals
• Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift
• Ability to perform repetitive motions, bending, stretching, and pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds
• Availability to work varied shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays
