About the role
Responsibilities
- Build, assemble, and operate launch ground support equipment
- Perform handling and integration of flight hardware based on technical drawings and CAD models
- Perform precision measurement and cleaning of hardware components
- Identify discrepancies and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with engineering
- Execute component builds and accurately document assembly processes
- Provide feedback to engineering to improve manufacturability and tooling
- Maintain strong configuration control and workmanship standards
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace, mechanical, or construction environments
- Experience with flight hardware and spacecraft processing, including fueling operations
- Knowledge of process piping, pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Experience installing fluids system hardware such as tubing, fittings, and valves
- Hands-on experience with FOD-intolerant service components
- Ability to safely operate high-energy, pressure, and high-power systems
- Experience in lockout/tagout (LOTO), rigging, and lifting
- Experience operating heavy equipment like reach-lifts and aerial lifts
- Ability to work second shift and weekends
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain military installation access
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and maneuver in tight spaces

- Experience performing SCAPE operations
