Launch Site Director

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technical staff including engineers and technicians for launch vehicle integration, testing, payload processing, and mission execution
• Manage technical teams in high-pressure environments to ensure mission success
• Deliver projects and programs while maintaining schedules and budgets across multiple departments
• Manage external contractors and suppliers
• Improve launch site infrastructure and workflows to enable high-cadence operations
• Oversee site administration, security, supply chain, and logistics
• Ensure team health and safety and compliance with all regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 10+ years of experience in operations management, launch operations, or aerospace engineering
• Demonstrated experience supporting high-paced technical projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in an engineering discipline
• Direct experience with launch vehicle operations
• Technical expertise in payload integration, ground systems, and launch vehicle systems
• Software development experience for data acquisition and control systems
• Working knowledge of complex IT systems associated with launch operations
