Launch Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead operational launch activities within the plant as the primary operations project lead
• Serve as the key interface between the plant and divisional launch management teams
• Act as a methodical launch expert to ensure execution follows GDPEP and WICF22-0262 standards
• Ensure all project targets are met regarding supply, quality, feasibility, industrial engineering, and productivity
• Report launch status according to divisional standards and support customer projects
• Engage in early project involvement to represent the operations viewpoint
• Support the staffing process at project start and the rollout of launch standards within the plant

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or technical business administration
• Several years of experience in Operations, Project Management, or similar roles within the automotive industry
• Strong intercultural competence and ability to work in a global environment
• Fluency in English with excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Strong moderation and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel for business and spend limited periods abroad
