Launch Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate the overall process for product launches, ensuring delivery of product, key milestones, and product content
• Monitor projects against schedules, costs, and deadlines
• Manage product transfers from external sites and ensure customer requirements are captured in project plans
• Determine appropriate manufacturing and packaging strategies in conjunction with functional managers
• Coordinate with on-site and off-site suppliers and vendors regarding purchasing decisions
• Perform validation activities for new equipment and processes
• Report on key risks and provide recommendations for mitigation
• Lead milestone meetings and document outcomes for follow-up by category owners
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Environmental, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Proven problem-solving and conflict management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive experience in a vehicle assembly plant
• Prior experience handling a unionized workforce
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Experience with Safety and Quality processes
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
