Lathe Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lathe machines to perform cutting, sanding, drilling, and finishing of parts and materials
• Inspect finished products to verify conformity to design specifications
• Use precision measuring tools to assess part dimensions and quality
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain consistent quality output
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Embody and reinforce core company values and behaviors to promote a positive work culture

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings
• Prior experience with CNC or manual lathe machines is preferred
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, afternoons, nights, and weekends
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
