Lateral Recruiting Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop, launch, and execute national hiring plans and processes for key practice groups
• Advise practice group leaders on sourcing, screening, and candidate profiles
• Drive lateral hiring logistics, including standardizing offer processes and paperwork
• Oversee candidate onboarding, integration, and performance monitoring
• Manage sourcing efforts and interviewing for non-associate positions, such as staff attorneys
• Compile market data and analyze internal hiring and compensation trends
• Engage with search firms to satisfy firm needs and monitor fee agreement compliance
• Manage and mentor the Lateral Recruiting Coordinator

Requirements

• Four-year college degree
• 5+ years of legal recruiting experience, preferably in a large or international law firm
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
• Experience with applicant tracking software (ViRecruit preferred)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
