Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, alignment, and testing of laser amplifier systems and beam delivery assemblies
• Lead preventive maintenance, calibration, and system upgrades
• Drive fault diagnosis across optical, electro-optical, and basic electronic subsystems
• Ensure compliance with high-energy laser and high-voltage safety standards
• Build and wire laser-related electronics, including power supplies and drivers
• Maintain and improve system documentation, configurations, and test results
• Partner with laser engineers and scientists to support R&D integration and troubleshooting

Requirements

• Solid background in photonics, laser technology, or optical systems
• Hands-on experience in precision optical alignment
• Working knowledge of electro-optical and basic electronic systems
• Experience with optical and electrical test equipment (power meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers)
• Familiarity with Class 4/high-energy laser safety and high-voltage protocols
• Strong technical documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in cleanroom or controlled-environment standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving R&D environment
