About the role
Responsibilities
- Define baseline assembly process and automation requirements for high-volume laser diode production
- Evaluate and select vendors
- Establish manufacturing best practices across suppliers and internal operations
- Drive yield improvement through yield analysis and failure analysis
Requirements
- B.S. with 10+ years of experience, or M.S. with 7+ years of experience
- Deep experience with QCW Diodes packaging
- Proven track record in high volume manufacturing environments
- Strong background in production quality control and process optimization
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with semiconductor back-end packaging
